The DiRectory

Jake S.
Jake S. was born in New York City on September 26, 1999. He currently lives with his four siblings and mom on the lower west side. Jake won the 2013 Rectory School Geography Bee. His interests are: checkers/chess, geography, reading, history, dodge ball (many different kinds of dodge ball), and building robots. Jake’s favorite foods include margarita pizza, mint and strawberry ice cream, angel hair pasta, and seltzer. Jake wants to be either a Marine, Navy Seal, Admiral, naval tactician, or author when he’s older. Jake also has an interest in current events and politics; he has 97% conservative views, but agrees with Democrats on a couple issues. Jake collects coins, foreign money, crystals, fossils, and historically-relevant items (museum gift shop items included). Jake agrees with the NSA on surveillance being security, and thinks, “If you have nothing to hide, Big Brother is your friend. The government isn’t some malevolent force that wants to spy on you to frame you or something; it’s for national security." Jake’s favorite songs are Proud to be an American, God Bless the USA, and Skyfall. Lastly, Jake is majorly patriotic (if you couldn't tell already); he has four American flags throughout his dorm room.
