The Diversity Committee presents…

Rectory Voices

The mission of the Diversity Committee:

Consistent with our guiding tenets-respect, responsibility, honesty, and compassion, Rectory promotes a safe and inclusive school community that embraces the diversity that defines our world and our campus. This diversity includes culture, gender, race, geography, affectional and/or sexual orientation, religion, socioeconomic status, family structure, learning style, physical ability, and appearance. Our goal is to develop empathetic, confident, self-aware individuals who will be productive members of the Global Community.

Thank you for joining in the effort to engage students and faculty in Rectory Voices during Morning Assembly.

What is Rectory Voices?

Rectory Voices is an opportunity for you to share your personal experiences outside of Rectory with the rest of the student body.

My family likes to [go, celebrate, play, eat, etc.] …

My neighborhood is …
Out my bedroom window, I see …
Some of the smells and sounds of my neighborhood are …

With my friends at home, I …

Choose a picture that will be shown at Assembly and share your experience with that picture.

Presentations will begin on Thursday, October 6, during Morning Assembly. Mrs. Gould and Grade 9 student, Brett C., will be sharing their personal experiences.

We can’t wait to hear all of your Rectory Voices!!
