The Rectory School is a small, co-ed, junior boarding school in Pomfret, Connecticut. Our students are in middle school, grades 5 – 9, which is why we are called a “junior” boarding school. Students come from all over the world to attend Rectory, including the countries of Mexico, Taiwan, China, Korea, Thailand, and Japan, as well as the U.S.

Currently, there are 145 boarding students at Rectory; one hundred of the boarders are boys, and forty-five are girls. We interviewed some students and dorm parents to learn their opinions about boarding life at Rectory. Please watch our attached video to see and hear what they had to say. (After watching, click  your “Escape” button to return to The DiRectory.)

Thank you for watching our informational video!
